PlantLore LLC (“PlantLore”, “we”) runs plantlore.ai and the PlantLore app. This page explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. Questions go to tom@plantlore.ai.

What we collect on this website

When you request a demo, we collect what you type into the form:

  • Your name, company, and work email
  • Your phone number and a note about your machine, if you add them
  • The language of the page you used, the first page you visited, and any campaign codes in the link you followed (for example, from an ad)
  • A scrambled, one-way code made from your network address. It is used only to stop spam (no more than a few requests per hour from one place), and it can’t be turned back into your address.

Visitor statistics

We count visits with Vercel Web Analytics: which pages are viewed, where visitors come from, and what kind of device they use. It doesn’t use cookies, and it doesn’t identify you or follow you to other websites.

Cookies

This website sets one cookie, and only if you use the English | Español switch: it remembers your language. The PlantLore app uses the cookies it needs to keep you signed in and remember your language. We don’t use advertising or tracking cookies.

How we use it

We use your information to:

  • Reply to your request and talk with you about PlantLore
  • Keep the website and app secure and working, and stop abuse
  • Understand which pages and ads bring people to us

What we don’t do

We don’t sell or rent your personal information, and we don’t share it with advertisers. We won’t add you to a mailing list without asking.

Companies that help us run PlantLore

These providers handle data on our behalf, only to run our service:

  • Vercel: hosts the website and app, and provides visitor statistics
  • Supabase: stores data, including demo requests and the PlantLore app’s data
  • Resend: delivers emails (demo request alerts to us, and sign-in emails from the app)
  • Google Workspace: our company email
  • OpenAI: translates knowledge entries in the PlantLore app between English and Spanish, only for companies that turn that feature on

Information in the PlantLore app

The knowledge, files, and accounts a company adds to PlantLore belong to that company. Under our agreement with that company, PlantLore may use them to run the service (store, back up, search, translate, and support it) and, in a form that identifies no person or company, to improve PlantLore. We never sell them, never show them to other customers, and never use them to train AI. Quotes, clips, or photos appear in our marketing only with written permission from both the company and the person. Each company’s information is kept separate from every other company’s, and PlantLore staff don’t get automatic access to it. If you use PlantLore through your employer, contact your company’s PlantLore administrator about your account.

Voice typing in the app

When you tap the microphone to talk instead of type, your phone or browser’s own speech recognition (for example Google in Chrome, or Apple on iPhone) turns your voice into text, under its own privacy terms. PlantLore receives only the text, and only if you save it. Voice notes you attach on purpose are stored like photos, in your company’s private account.

How long we keep it

We keep demo requests while they’re useful for talking with you about PlantLore, and we delete them when you ask.

Your choices

You can ask us to show you, correct, or delete the information we have about you. Email tom@plantlore.ai, and we’ll reply within 30 days.

Where it’s stored

Our providers may store and process information in the United States.

Children

PlantLore is a business service and isn’t meant for children. We don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

Changes

If we change how we handle information, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
